Our Mission

Did you know that Wine Women & Shoes Orlando benefits Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida? All ticket proceeds raised go straight back into our community to feed kids, seniors, and families that struggle with food insecurity.

Second Harvest's Mission: To create hope and nourish lives through a powerful hunger relief network, while multiplying the generosity of a caring community.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is a member of Feeding America – the largest charitable domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States. Second Harvest secures and distributes food and grocery products to approximately 550 local nonprofit feeding programs throughout Central Florida. Last year, with the help of food and financial donors, volunteers and a caring, committed community, the food bank distributed 58 million meals to partner programs such as food pantries, soup kitchens, women’s shelters, senior centers, day care centers and Kids Cafes. On average, more than Second Harvest is distributing enough food to feed 53,000 people a day.

With 100% of WWS ticket sales going straight back into our community, you are already helping SHFB towards the mission by attending Wine Women and Shoes. We thank you for joining us and also for participating in the Silent and Live Auction, Key to the Closet Raffle, Wine Pull and for your generous sponsorships and donations!
